Children of Edward Lloyd Parry

Edward Thomas Parry (1859-1938) with his stone work:

Edward Thomas Parry?

Emma (1876-1949) and Harriet ("Hattie") Parry (1870-1946):
 Back side of the photo:

ET Parry, probably in about 1890, when he was on his mission to the British Isles. I believe this is a mission photo because of the "Merthyr" (a town in Wales) on both sides of the photo.
 Back side of the photo:

ET Parry's business. Note the small letters below the sign: "The White Stone Man." Notice the four people in the picture. I believe one of the two ladies on the left is ET Parry's wife, Charlotte Ann Edmunds Parry, and the man in the middle by the car must be ET Parry himself. As of yet I cannot identify the man on the far right.

ET Parry and his wife Charlotte, later in life.

ET Parry family reunion, about 1931. I have a legend of the people from this photo if you would like. (See my email address on this blog.)

Mary Parry (about 1770 - about 1856), paternal grandmother of Edward Lloyd Parry

Acquired from Frank Johnson. This is the first time I have ever seen a full-body photo of her.

Back of the photo:

Edward Parry (1792-1867), father of Edward Lloyd Parry

Special thanks to the Frank Johnson family for acquisition of this picture.

Ordinance Tracker of the Parry family

I acquired this document from Frank Johnson. As it is rather wide, I scanned it in three takes. You'll have to print each separately then piece them together. Among other things, we learn that Edward Lloyd Parry actually baptized second wife Ann, and that President Brigham Young performed the marriages of Edward to both wives. Enjoy.

Births and Baptisms of Edward Lloyd Parry's children

I acquired copies of these three documents from Frank Johnson. They contain fascinating information about the time of day each child was born, and also detail how, for some reason, Edward Lloyd Parry's children were generally baptized and confirmed by other men. Beautiful handwriting.

Pages of Family History - from Edward Lloyd Parry's journal?

Two copies I acquired from Frank Johnson. The first page may be Edward Lloyd Parry's actual handwriting, detailing his life in St. George. The second page records some family death dates.
Both contain fascinating information about his life.

Obituaries of Edward Lloyd Parry and 2nd wife Ann Parry

Two obituaries I acquired from my father's cousin Frank Johnson. I just acquired them this month.

Pictures: E.L. Parry and Sons, and a Deseret Telegraph

Two telegraphs from Brigham Young and George A. Smith, both sent in 1875, to Edward Lloyd Parry, J. Scofield, and others. The one on the right is particularly touching. It reads: "To EL Parry and workman on St. George Temple / We thank God our Heavenly Father for the blessings bestowed upon you in completing those walls ready for the roof / We thank you all for your faithful labors in this good work and we bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus"

A nice, high resolution picture of Edward Lloyd Parry (in front of the store) along with many others. It has been speculated that the three men on the left, all with tools, are his sons: Edward Thomas Parry on the far left with his two sons Nathaniel (1902-1991) and Edward (1898-1977), John Lloyd and Bernard. As to the rest, I do not know any of their identities.
